Live Saturday Night with E.C. LaRock
E.C. LaRock (Erich S. Coston) was a DJ on Philly's WDAS (105.3 FM) for nearly two decades and hosted the Live Saturday Night with E.C. LaRock dance party. He was originally a member of the 80s Philly hip-hop crew Galaxy Five before joining WDAS in 1986. E.C. LaRock passed away at age 47 in October 2005.
This episode is co-hosted with The Brewser and features some solid mid-90s tunes, including some rare gems and forgotten tracks (that Shante one is dope).
Adverts on this one include a great Issac Hayes Bud Lite ad and one for Banin's Auto Supply (they're still around).
