Another dope tape from Slavin Balen's "Rap Attack" Radio 101 shows archives from Zagreb. This was June 1989 and Slavin invited DJ Zvonko Kožić (now known as DJ Xed) to come by the show and give away a few tickets for his Sunday "Hip Hop Night" event at KSET club. They are also giving away tickets for a Friday night "101 Press" Rap night that Slavin DJ'd weekly right after his radio show. Zagreb had two Hip-Hop club nights the same week in 1989!! Goran Vlajic (DJ GO CUT) calls in the show and gets tickets for the party by knowing the name of Stetsasonic's first 12" single on Tommy Boy Records. On the show Slavin plays Neneh Cherry, Public Enemy, De La Soul, Tone Loc, Stetsasonic & Professor Daddy-O, DJ Cash Money & Marvelous, Big Daddy Kane, Derek B, 2 Live Crew... Enjoy this '89 gem!
